THE PIANO STUDIO OF GALINA SHATSKAYA

October 2011	Nebraska State Festival	A non-competitive performance opportunity for students who scored appropriately at the District Festival. Students play for experience, ratings, and comments.
December 2011	Piano Party	An annual mid-year party for studio students only.
March, 2012	Trophy Festival	A non-competitive event for students of OMTA members.
May, 2012	District Festival	Performances receive scores and comments. Students who earn a I or II performance rating and pass the theory test with a score of 60% or better, advance to the State Festival
May, 2012	Studio Formal Recital	The annual formal studio recital.
July, 2012	NE Summer Music Olympics	An annual event sponsored by UNO's Department of Music. No age of grade level requirements. One solo category per instrument per entry is allowed. Each participant must play two pieces, one of them from required repertoire.
